W463 vacuum noise on and off during idle?
Hey guys! Noticing this loud vacuum noise and turns on and off intermittently on idle….it’s pretty frequent. Maybe every 5 seconds or so… is this normal? Vacuum leak somewhere? Any help is very much appreciated!

I have a similar noise that's almost always present whenever the car is on, but I only recently tied it to the lumbar seat controls. The sound was like an air compressor that was always on, and then it went silent when I adjusted the lumbar support. As soon as I released the button, it came back on. Not sure if this is what you're experiencing but sounds like it might be. I only notice the sound when I'm at a stop. Otherwise I can't hear it when the car is moving.

Hey there!! Hmm… yea I don’t hear it while driving. Lumbar support? I think when you press the button it directs power and the vacuum turns off. Once you release the button..the power goes back to the vacuum?
It just when the car is parked on idle. If I were to turn that car on…and just let it run..vacuum/fan noise turns on and off every 4-5 seconds or so. Not sure if it does this while driving….
anyone else have an idea?? Bump!
