2012 G550 test drive
Hey guy!! New to the forum but about to pull the trigger on a 12 g550. It has a little over 100k but aesthetically has everything I want. Question is what are some things to look for on the test drive? I was ASE certified years back but joined the fire service now. So have some mechanical knowledge. Also might sound ridiculous to ask but this car is at the top of my budget so won’t be putting and extra in it for a bit. How is the sound system? The car is older but thinking it being a g maybe they put some good stuff in here. Don’t care for bass just overall sound and loud. At the price point these things go for. With the yr and mileage it’s hard for me to justify, but man I want this ride. Just don’t want to miss something obvious if I can avoid it

Rust is a big one. Check other threads on the topic. Looks like it's had some cosmetic mods, I'm generally not a fan of these but to each their own. As for mechanicals, other can chime in.

So that one was a bust. Shady work with electronic issues. Going to go stock and add bumpers, hood, head and tail lights. And side side mirrors. What is the best cost effective option to get parts for these things?
