Buying a 2017 g63 - side mould question

Im in the process of buying a 2017 g63 and the previous owner removed the side mouldings prior to wrapping the car. Now the mouldings are peeling on one side, no signs of damage prior just ends of each piece lifting, how easy is it to fully remove them, clean, apply new adhesive and re attach?

my thought was to remove the wrap in a year or so and reapply the mouldings on the original paint at that time. Easy process?

What do you mean by "mouldings"?

The mouldings themselves are just held on using a 3M double sided foam tape. There is a metal strip inside the rubber, so if the shop just pulled them off with force before wrapping, they most likely bent them, which is why the look to be 'peeling' at the edges.

If and when you decide to remove the wrap or re-wrap it, you can have the mouldings bent back or order new ones.
