W463 coolant flush - any tips for burping?
Hello,
I replaced a leaky oil filter housing on my G63 and it was wonderful (not). A $140 part requiring about 20 hours of labor to get to! Engine bay is TIGHT and annoying.
I had to disconnect radiator hoses, coolant hard lines, thermostat housing among other things so I drained the coolant. Car sat for two weeks while I slowly finished the project and put everything back together. I now need to refill the coolant system.
Any tips or tricks to getting all the air worked out of the system? Fill, idle the car with max heat, let it cool down, top-up, repeat 3 times?
Also, I stocked up on Pentosin NF - does that go straight in or is it cut 50-50 with distilled water? Doesn't say on the bottle.
Thank you,
