I replaced the Comand of my 2004 G500 8 years ago with an android unit, I already changed it 4 times with newer and updated units, it is a life changing, rear and front camera, wireless carplay and the sound is much much better, last month i tried to upgrade again my android 9 unit with a Android 13 but the lack of front camera input forced me to reinstall back the version 11 back, after that I have a problem, everythings works perfectly as before even with the key in start position but when I start the engine I have a rev related ticking sound from the center speaker and the front sound comes and goes like if wires are loose, I have to select the fader all way back in order to have decent sound, I tried to put back the original command unit but the problem is still there, battery is new, no loose connectors, no pinced wires, all the grounds are ok, could it be a Logic 7 problem?

Just search for Mercedes w463 android auto on Amazon, there are 2 models, with DVD player and without, the second is much cheaper and easier to install because is less deep, don’t buy the standard one without the volume knob, is not easy to use in emergency
