The 2015 G550 I purchased a couple of months ago didn’t come with the front black skid plate that’s supposed to be at the bottom of the radiator. I’m wondering how crucial this part is. It looks like it covers the bottom of the radiator and a couple of coolant lines, but these seem to be mostly hidden behind the front bumper, with not much exposed.

I’m considering just leaving it as is but worry it might cause problems in the long run. I've seen some aftermarket stainless steel options, but I'm not a fan of their look. Does anyone have a used factory front skid plate lying around that they’d be willing to sell? I’d be interested.
