2016 G63 Water pump??

I started the G and the low coolant light came on....huge puddle of coolant underneath. Added coolant to the reservoir and 100% drained right out the front of the engine above the crank pulley. Guessing water pump???

Edit: Appears to be this small, hard plastic hose just above the crank pulley. See Pic. Does anyone know the part # for this hose?

Found the part # a1572000151 or 157-200-00-00
Turbo coolant line

Pretty straightforward fix. Pulled the cooling fan to get some working room, 3 bolts, a couple clamps and done. Part was $59 at local dealer. Topped off the coolant and back in action.

Nice work. Glad it's not WP! That can take a lot more work for sure.

Agreed. It was the turbo coolant line going to the passenger side. After researching the forums, I may want to to get back in there and replace the 2 turbo coolant lines going to the drivers side turbo since several people have said, "when one goes, the others are not far behind". Looks like they are a little more involved.

Well done. My most recent service at MB Aust suggested that I replace the turbo coolant lines on both sides as the drivers side (RHS in Aust) coolant line was leaking. Quote from local dealer was A$4000!!!!

Oooph! That's a big ticket. I know i am a little crazy diving in, but couldn't bring myself to having it towed to the dealer and then surprised with a huge bill. It was refreshing to get through it...kinda tore the bandaid off of my first repair on this thing. I almost abandoned my repair when I couldn't reach the bolts and couldn't get the cooling fan out. I scheduled the appt, scheduled tow and then....the stubborn side of me said one more try and I found the little 10mm bolt holding the fan in....after that, it was easy.
