W463 headlights too dim - aftermarket options worthwhile?
Headlights on 2013 G63 are too dim and got worse after my lift as they are now pointed too low. I am unable to adjust them - found the procedure to adjust, but nothing happens.
My goal is not looks, but just light output and throw. I am indifferent to LED, projector, DRL etc.
I see several aftermarket replacement headlights from as low as $500. Do folks have experience with any of them? Should I change my OEM bulbs first perhaps - are bulbs known to get dimmer with age?!
Thoughts welcome, thank you.

None of the 7" round headlight options will fit given the larger inner fender opening. I'm hoping to be able to scan the inner fender at some point so I can design an spacer/bracket to make 7" round lights work, but I'll need someone with a 2008+ bi-xenon G that is local.
There are lots of options on Ali-Express, but last I checked, they're in the $400-700 range and delivery is 30-90 days.
gwagenparts also lists several different options (scroll down for the less $$$ brabus/mansory parts). They look basically the same as the Ali-Express stuff, no idea if they actually keep any in stock. No experience with them except a single member that has used something like them before.

Here's a thread about light housings like this:
