Well its thanksgiving long weekend in Canada and due to my work schedule I wasn't able to get the vacation I had planned.. But instead I figured it would be cool to take my G out to the mountains and test out the off road capabilities.. I had never been in this area in the summer but frequent this spot in the winter when I do some climbing on my snowmobiles .. Truck handled it all perfect.. Unfortunately due to the trail situation I wasn't able to get to the base of the mountain but we did hike up to the same spot.
Went out yesterday and woke up to snow this morning.. Look forward to exploring this area next year

Yes for sure.. I grew up in southern Ontario but moved to Alberta about 17 years ago.. It is great being a couple hours from the mountains but I do still miss the great lakes.. I put some 37s on the g and the roof rack and wanted the offroader look and it's awesome to know that she handles it amazingly as well..
Now i just need my new spare tire mount to come in.
Gets up to speed fine and handles not bad (I changed steering damper to a fox shock and that greatly improved some steering shake I had). I don't push the g hard acceleration wise as I really understand the extra strain the big tires can take on the drivetrain. I also have other cars when I'm feeling like going fast or carving the mountains.
