Hello All,

I'm pondering on doing the motor mounts of my G63 by myself or bring my car to a competent shop to do the motor mounts.
My main challenge is that I don't have access to a lift at the moment, has any one of you ever done it on jack stands?

Honestly, skip the jack stands for this job. It's a beast. You need to lift the engine high and there's very little room to work underneath. On a lift, it's a tough job. On the ground, it's a nightmare.

Pay the shop. It's one of those jobs where the cost and frustration you save are worth every penny.
