Overhead light(Control Module) replacement
I have 2002 G500. Sunroof and vanity light is not functioning. Culprit seems the overhead control module.
Since G class shares quite a few parts from W209 and W220, is it possible to swap out the overhead light assembly with control module from W209 unit?
Seem few of them on eBay and wanted to see if they are compatible.

Well, I pulled the plug and ordered W203 overhead console as it is identical to the W463. I took the old one and noticed there were water intrusion and shorted out one of the connector(Sunroof). I replaced with new unit and everything is working (courtesy light, dome light, Sunroof switch). One thing that is not working is the door light, when the door is open, dome light does not turn on automatically, but manually turning on works. Any idea?
