This weekend, I tackled to replace shocks on all four corners. Rears are breeze, took me less than 20 minutes per shock.
Front is a little different story with tight space. Passenger side has more room, took almost same amount as rear axles. I bought Tite-Reach 1/2" extension and used it on the confined space. Initially need to break the nut loose, but afterwards, it worked nice.
Just raising vehicle enough to fit the shock bolt took some time, but used my cordless jack and worked out really well.
Driver side, it is easier to disconnect the steering column to free up some space. Same concept here with initial break of nuts with breaker bar and used the extension wrench to unbolt.
Not associated with neither brand, but they are very useful and works well.
Tested the ride and I can tell the improvement as mine was still an original shock from 2002.
I'm thinking about doing shocks, springs, etc on my 2013. I will probably end up doing something like this but probably won't tackle it on my own unless I can find someone to guide me along the way.
Nice work. Those 20-year-old originals were definitely toast. Good tip on disconnecting the steering shaft for the driver's side, that's the real secret on these. People fight that top nut for hours.

Yeah, without disconnecting that one bolt and nut, it would have been a LONG process. Also making sure to have 24mm socket or ratchet wrench on hand is the key as well.
