2015 G550 ran out of gas, wont start, and kills relays.

I have a 2015 Mercedes-Benz G550 W463 with a 5.5L V8. The car ran out of gas and died in the driveway. I added 6 gallons and it wouldn’t start. I then noticed a buzzing coming from a relay in the passenger footwell fuse box under the glove compartment. i have attached images below of a fuse panel diagram (which does not list the functionality of the relay I pulled) and my fuse panel. Part number on the relay is A0025428719.
This relay was buzzing even with the key out of the ignition and even after disconnecting the battery, waiting 30 minutes to reset the computer, and reconnecting it. I replaced it with the same part number, the car started and ran great for about a minute then died and the new relay was already buzzing and dead.

1. What circuit does this specific relay control in the passenger footwell fuse box on a 2015 G550? (See photos attached. Startmycar.com does not state function of this relay)

2. What would cause it to keep failing? could running out of gas maybe damage the fuel pump which is now killing the relays? If so, how can I test without killing my last good relay.

Photo of the fuse box and relay position circled in red attached below.

Any help or thoughts are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Sounds as if there could be air in the fuel line that's preventing fuel from flowing. The buzzing relay doesn't mean that it's dead, but rather that it's engaging and releasing cyclically. The relay might control the fuel pump and a lack of fuel line pressure could be causing the relay to oscillate open/close so that the fuel pump isn't damaged by fuel not flowing through it. You might try adding more fuel to the tank, at least 3/4 full. This might help re-pressurize the fuel system, and get the gas flowing again. Turn your ignition key to the "run" position, but not "start" -- this should make the fuel pump run without draining the battery trying to start the engine. Do this a couple times, and maybe the air lock will break, the relay will stop buzzing and fuel will begin flowing. If you have a battery charger, connect it so you don't drain the battery while trying to get the engine started. There could be OBD error codes that need to be cleared after you get it running again.

Not sure about the G fuel pump but a lot of pumps are cooled by the fuel so when you run out of fuel they break.
