Set the time

Press SVC button on Comand. You will need to go in to settings and adjust the country, and timezone. You must have a GPS signal to change this, otherwise it will be greyed out and unselectable. You will then be given the daylight savings time option.

S500 -how to set up the correct time...?
Can someone finally answer that question? I am trying to get the help, but no answer... search is no help...I finally found this thread but it looks unanswered...for goodness sake, we are not here to learn how to rebuild the engine, we ask for small things and people tend to ignore them as probably not worthy to even spend time on...amazing... ... :sigh:

...........If you live in the USA and have NAV in your car, the clock sets itself even for daylight savings time. So I am not sure why yours doesn't. If you get a Euro Comand, you will loose this feature and will need to set your time every 6 months. Now go have a beer!!

ok, thanks a lot, I will try as soon as the temperature rise to at least 40 deg, it's freezing outside...
My time is off for 20 minutes for some reason, not an hour (it would be DTS issue), the NAVI doesn't set up it correctly and as far as I know it is US version. ok, I'm off to my glass of wine...

............wow! so you want to set your clock. In a 2000-2006 G-class, push the system button. The service menu will come up. There will be an option to change your clock. You can then change your clock by using the right side knob. you can go up or down in 30 min increments.
