Hi guys, will it interrupt the connection? Or any delays. I have read a lot of reviews about wireless adapters, such as cplay2air, and their adapters consume the battery power of the phone crazily. I want to know if you have the same situation with this adapter?

CarPlay runs on your phone so if you force close the maps app on your phone it’ll close on the dashboard. Wireless CarPlay is known to drain battery because it’s creating a hotspot to connect to the dashboard through WiFi, so this is draining most of the battery (the process of transmitting what’s happening on your phone to the screen). Maps using location services will most likely use same amount of battery whether you’re connected to CarPlay or not, obviously when you add CarPlay to the equation you’re using up more resources from your phone so it’ll compound into using more battery. You can check how much battery each app drains on your iPhone settings in battery.

just bought a similar one on amazon for 75 bucks and it works great occasional delay in connection mostly fine.
