The Fi EXHAUST has been rigorously tested to offer the highest performance and optimal sound frequency through optimal pipe diameter, CAD and innovative X-Pipe design, valvetronic technology, high grade materials and production process. The exhaust is built from a high grade stainless steel material and masterfully detailed and finished using TIG welding producing high quality and clean welds.
The valvetronic muffler can be personalized with classic round quad tips for those wanting to keep OEM aesthetic or triple double-sided square tips. The team developed the triple square tips in order to better accentuate the iconic angular body lines of the G-Class and it standout.

In order to wake the twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 engine and amplify exhaust sound characteristic with downshift noise, pops and crackles turn ON exhaust valves. Activate the exhaust valves by using OEM PE button or sport plus drive mode to swiftly switch between street and sport sound modes.

When valves are closed exhaust gasses are routed through the muffler resulting in a low-profile comfortable drive. When valves are fully open for maximum flow and performance it creates an emotive and deep AMG V8 growl.

Along with the improved sound characteristic performance is also increased. The green color spec AMG G63 W463A featured above increased horsepower by 190HP to 775HP compared to the stock base levels. This shows how much untapped potential there is to work with using an aftermarket exhaust system and other modifications. The G-Class was equipped with Fi full catless system and underwent Mcchip - DKR Stage 2 ECU remap. The OPF particulate filter was removed for an increased exhaust gas flow, power and deeper V8 growl.

2020 Mercedes-AMG W463A G63 SUV installed with Fi Ultra Edition valvetronic catback and tri square tips in matte black, which accentuate iconic angular G-Class body lines and matte finish goes well with the blacked out aesthetic. The Ultra Edition tips are also available in silver color, if you'd like to match with other chrome elements in your build.

W463A AMG G63 OPF version model is installed with our valvetronic catback. The catback also features our double-sided tripple square tips in matte black that enhance the angular and boxy G-Class body lines this model is so well-known for.

The exhaust completely integrates with OEM functionality, and exhaust flaps can be activated by switching to Sport+ drive mode resulting in a pronounced and deeper V8 growl.

I'm researching options to get a MY21 to these these types of HP numbers. I understand this to be two separate upgrades, correct? A stage 2 tune and the exhaust. Is the tune an F1 tune or another vendor and by stage 2, is it necessary to the eliminate the cats?

As far as I'm aware, FI isn't doing tunes, but Chris can confirm that. Stage 2 from most tuners (like DME) doesn't require a cat-less set up. However, many find that running cat-less can give you more HP. The downsides to cat-less are the obvious legal/inspection issues, and the increased smell from the exhaust not gettiing scrubbed. However, the increased sound is pretty awesome!
