Does anyone know if the G Wagon (MY 2020/2021) uses 3g network services for telematics and infotainment? All providers are shutting down their 3G services this year / most manufacturers are publicizing fixes - MB is silent.

I can't believe MB or any other manufacturer would want to lose its ability to track and eavesdrop on its customers. Google's empire has been built on amassing such data. I wouldn't be concerned about MB's silence - they don't even want you knowing where your truck's battery is located.

I believe MB has been using LTE since 2018 so it should not be affected. Older cars that have their MBrace still active will probably be notified to have their wireless data modules replaced.
