In case there are any more doubters. G550 looks like a bargain now.
Thanks to JCBH for the accurate info a couple of weeks ago.

$179K seems like a reasonable increase. I looked up the one we have on order on Monroney and the $ 231K price shocked me. We should be in the $200K range. Seems like a fair price these days . Ours hit the port last weekend on the East Coast, Hopefully they will get it down to Texas in a few weeks . Wife is excited. This is the 1st G63 we have special ordered. She picked everything.

OK, good info - thanks for posting Hotdog16. Really surprised at the G550 pricing. That is only $8k higher vs approx $22k higher for the G63. I wonder if the option packages on the G550 will now cost more ? ie) AMG night package etc. My guess is that ADM's will now be closer for the G550 and G63 because of the increased pricing spread between the 2 models.

Thanks! But what does JCBH stand for? I'm new to some of these acronyms. However, I've seen on Monroneylabels.com VIN report with $150K tag on the G550. How reliable is that website? I asked that question earlier and no one has responded - yet. $7.99 is a lot to pay for a lie.
Heard from my salesman today and he sent a screen shot from Netstar and as of 6/8 the status code "D10- VPC RCVD" is posted to my order. Now I guess we will be able to tell if VPC is really "not releasing until July" is true or not.

According to my salesman, "Once it says release to carrier then it has permission to be picked up and delivered to the dealership".
What was the status code? So according to the word on the streets, VPC is not releasing until July could be true since your order shows release in JULY??

Bacaloc you crack me up dude. JCBH is the poster who shared msrp two weeks ago and was right. Just giving credit to them for giving us the right info.
Vehicle won’t be at dealer the day of release. Plenty of posts from the past that show expected dates of when vehicles arrive.
And yes the 2022 order guides already showed option pricing months ago which are unchanged.

We don't have an official release date yet. Release date means the cars can leave the VPC, however they won't all leave that day. The actual release will probably take weeks.

Prices for the 2022 G's just dropped in a few minutes ago, I'm able to see MSRP for all 3 of ours. Get with your SA for your pricing if you have an order in.
Base for the G550 is $139,900 and the G63 is $179,000 before options and destination.

My Arabian Gray G63 has finally made it to Brunswick, GA. Now the wait game of how long it will take for the release to take place. Hoping not months.
Also finally got pricing for my build which was originally shown to be $231,900.00 on Monroney Labels site, phonieroney that. Actual MSRP is $206,XXX.XX.
Has anyone else taken delivery of their 2022 G yet? Also curious if MB is still delivering 2021 G’s or have those been all rolled out?

Just got another update from my dealer. My G63 was 'unloaded today & stamped at VPC' not entirely sure what that even means, but sounds like it's moving in a positive direction. Hoping soon it will board a transporter and head to the dealership, again, not holding my breathe! Anyone else have any more updates on their 2022?

Yesterday my dealer confirmed base price ($179K) as well as price for DC1 code ( AMG Night Package), PK2 code ( Active multi contour seats) and PT2 ( AMG Performance Package). A number of other codes with descriptors are listed but no pricing.
The most interesting ( and probably costly) is code DV5 with the descriptor Price Not On File but then a number of sub codes and descriptors underneath it which apparently includes indoor car cover, AMG Edition Foliation, Steering wheel with stitching, exterior elements in black, Edition code, 22" Edition wheel, Floor mats with Edition lettering.

Thanks to JCBH! This MY22 MSRP price list is right on! Got my MSRP from my sales person today and it's what's on this list. The options are where they stick it to you. Simply because you can't have this without that. It's all in the 2022 order guide but without $$.

Also, got word today from my dealer that 2022 G63's are released today and should be on their way to the dealers shortly...exciting stuff...mine is at the VPC here in Los Angeles, and should have it next week.
