Hi all,

My G is built and on a ship with an estimated arrival (US) June 3rd. But the dealer states that it cannot be released until Mercedes gives its blessing, which it hasn't given to the 22 G... So, does anyone know when the vehicle will be released from the dealer to me? My dealer doesn't know and states that it may be a month or more.

No one knows. The car has to be cleared for sale first by the EPA and DOT. This process takes longer than it used to due to new regulations from the diesel emissions scandals.
Also, the federal govt moves slower than it ever has.
Once that cars are approved for sale, and any needed updates are done the cars will be released.
My guess is that it will be August at the earliest.

As I mentioned in my previous post my dealer told me MBUSA will not release 2022 G’s until August. I hope that isn’t true.
