So to those who have actually gotten one what does it do better than the standard G? I am seriously curious??
How does it handle in normal or highway drive?
Anybody actually off-road it to see if the axles are worth the money?
Spend your money how you wish but I do agree there should be more vehicle specific add ons for the cost not even including the mark ups.

I drove this one around town a lot after we aligned it and it was great, no complaints at all. The customer took possession of it right after the SEMA show and drove it on the highway back to SoCal, said it was great!
All our our G's we are converting will for sure be used off road. I drove this one off road a little for a post SEMA photo shoot and it worked great. Owner actually tore up some dirt with it as well right before he drove it back to CA.

not many people, even enthusiasts, wanting to pay over the already inflated 367,000 price. The market is cold for a $500,000 truck

A $500,000 truck that does not fit in 95% of home garages lol! Good luck! I just walked away from one at MSRP because remodeling my garage with 8 Ft clearance doors would set me back another $50K

I know people get excited and want things right away(I am one of those people), but honestly if everyone held their ground on these greedy dealers prices would come down to real life real fast.

Anyone who gave up their order have a hard time getting your deposit back from the dealer?
My dealer wants to hold my deposit for use on a future MB order because the 4x4 was a custom order.
I've never heard of this, but I've also never given up a custom order before.

‘if he is selling you at MSRP then he can possibly keep the deposit but if he changed the price on you then you can get it back!

This one was at MB Greenway in Houston on Friday. Looks like Platinum Magno. Really nice looking in person.

Add Roof Rack after the fact?
Does anyone know the parts and/or cost to add the factory roof rack after the fact? I believe it would be adding the rack, ladder, and replacing the light bar as it’s different

It appears that the wheels are fastened to the hub using lug nuts on the 4x4 square vs lug bolts for other mercedes models. Does anyone know if the previous generation squared used lug nuts as well?

I don't think you need to replace the light bar, I climbed up on one, and its the same light bar.
