US only or Canada as well?
I’m located in the great North and looking to trade my 2021 G63 for a G Squared.
My local dealer has indicated they have not yet received an allocation.
As per my phone call with the manager of the dealership, he told me they received 1 allocation and its mine as long as I wanted it, which I indicted I do. He told me 300 only (2023) coming end of year. Not sure msrp but mentioned 350k..hope that's not the case.
I have heard other rumors of more than 300 being made - which was 325 being made in '22 and 850 in '23. My good friend told me this and the source was the actual MB North America rep. Info directly off his laptop.
My friend is a big customer at this dealer - but he still cant get one due to the fact he's 2nd in line there behind the owner or ceo of PC Richard. Again this is what I was told, i'm sure there are varying reports and info out there.
Ramih,
Are you doing arabian grey again for the 4x4? I wanted to spec mine in night black magno like my current g63 but was told that color was restricted and unavailable right now. Also, if your friend really wants an allocation and willing to pay $200K over msrp, I know of a dealership that has an allocation. I know that's an insane markup but just putting it out there.

I believe it's based on G Wagen sales and overall sales numbers.
Hopefully this is the case. My dealership is owned by a group in my city and they have bigger more volume locations but Im pretty sure my dealer has better higher end and G sales.
Im in Canada but would you know if allocations are already set in stone? Or will they keep trickling in?

Not sure what the total for Canada will be. Someone here said total US 2022 allocation @ 300 cars. In the US allocations come out once a month. Usually mid month.
Can someone confirm the DD5 package is not available with the G6344? I have an allocation and my dealer is indicating it's not available. Also, appears there's an option for running boards, anyone have any pics or know the difference between the standard and optional ones?
The attached PDF is the current spec, no Green Hell Magno in the US

Have the same issue, tried to put in 917A interior but not available in the Netstar, only 917 appear in the system.

Option doesn't show up in Netstar. Some of the interiors that require that package aren't there either.
@mercedesmax will netstar allow you to equip one of the other interiors and does the print out show that interior code? Perhaps the DD5 comes standard. Check out this screen grab from the youtube video. Also, my build was able to be configured with the two tone dashboard, which is only available for DD5 in the G63 configurator (not available for black interiors).
2013 S550 SOLD / 2016 S63 SOLD / 2017 GLS450 / 2017 G550 4x4 / 2019 G63 E1 SOLD / 2019 S63 COUPE
The base price will be over $300k that's from the MB rep himself when I met last week to see the new SL63!! production is very limited not numbers yet!!
Does anyone know the height of the car?
the order guide seems to have the dimensions of the regular G63.
I don't have the actual number, but can make a guess based on how it's oufitted.
Figure a 30mm-50mm suspension lift (subframe upfront, and taller springs in back), and then about 5"-6" for the portals. Then add tire height of about 2.5" (half of overall tire height increase from stock). Add all of that up and it's probably between 8"-10" taller overall than a stock G63. I'd say that's about accurate based in seeing it in person at LeTech. That doesn't include the height of the roof rack if you decide to purchase it with the rack.
It seems to be almost 4" lower then the 2017 4x4, or at least the ground clearnce
The IFS front end is probably the culprit here. The subframe hangs down a little in the front, but I'd be surprised if it truly sacrifices 4" due to that. It looked to me to be similar in height, but I didn't see any sitting right next to the previous version, so it was hard to tell for sure.

does anyone know if the fender flares are as big and/or if it’s wider or narrower?
I wouldn't say it's less exciting after seeing it in person. Granted, the previous version was more outlandish due to the extra wide fender flares, but in my opinion this one looks better proportionally. The whole truck is only 20cm wider overall, yet still very stable. The previous gen fender flares were definitly wider than these, but the new ones follow the body lines much better. The previous fender flares were actually sort of an after thought that ended up making it into production. They had created something to cover the tires for testing, and it just kind of stuck. They ended up adapting them to carbon fiber and putting them into production.
The truck easily clears the 37" tire that will come on them, and I don't think I'll have any problem mounting up a set of 38x15.50 tires on a slightly more aggressive offset wheel. The spare tire hanging on the back really helps make the truck look better too. The previous Gen with no spare tire always looked kind of off to me. And the back 3/4 view of the previous gen looked a little odd. This one looks good from every angle. Of course, these are all just my personal opinions, and you know what opinions are worth...
Anyone able to spec the Designo Night Black Magno for their 4x4^2? Was told that it wasn't available right now
I'm guessing this color will be available in a sort of lottery type situation. MB will probably limit the black magno as production starts. That way they don't end up with 90% of the squared ending up in black magno.
