The intent was to communicate that my auditory needs are satiated by the Porsche, so not choosing MB's V8 is an option.
Suppose I wasn't clear...

Anyone know the average delivery time after the vehicles production date? Particularly the US Westcoast.
When should I expect my G63 to arrive if I have a production date of late Oct given to me by the dealer? Minus the current strike of course...

Well, the port workers all just went on strike! Nobody gonna be getting anything for a bit. Great job JB!

I think it depends. I haven't tracked production for a MB in a while, but our recent Range Rover went into production July 10th I believe, and finished July 27th. Then took another 2 weeks to get to the port. For my Porsche Taycan, I believe it was a month from going into production to arriving at port to await a ship. Custom colors tend to take longer I believe (at least for Porsche it did).

It’s been 6 weeks since production started for the US market for the G63, and so far, none have arrived yet. I predict we should see the first examples showing up at dealers within the next one to three weeks assuming no unexpected delays.

This port strike looks horrible for all goods. I hope it gets resolved quickly!

This will definitely have a huge impact on deliveries in the Northeast, South, and Midwest US. I do wonder how, if at all, it will affect deliveries to the Long Beach port. Assuming not every car ship makes a stop in the Atlantic, does this mean that some shipments to the Long Beach port (the big western port for Mercedes-Benz deliveries) would arrive on time?

Hi folks. Appreciate all of the recent comments regarding G63's horrendous gas mileage and production timelines. It would be great if we can return to the original purpose of this thread, which is "2025 G63 MSRP Estimate". Thank you for your understanding. It would make my job easier to tally up the winner once MB releases its official MSRP on its website.

For reference, the G580 you're at $185k with no added options (Edition 1 is required + exterior color selection). I think the G63 has to start at least $5-10k higher then this.

Thanks. The MSRP for the G580 is $161,500, as reflected in your built-sheet and on MB's website. For purposes of this thread, we are going with the MSRP published by MB on its website for the 2025 G63 (whenever it becomes available) - notwithstanding editions, add-on's, accessories, delivery/shipping fees, taxes, bells, whistles, fuzzy dices, etc.

Dealer just mentioned that the car is waiting at the port in Germany. The next Arc Defender vessel is leaving on 11th oct, reaching baltimore on 3rd november. It normally takes another 5-6 days for the vehicle to show up at the dealership through VPC. So if everything goes well, i should be getting the keys around Nov 10th.

Hi folks. Based on cars.com, there are now fewer than 50 new 2024 G63's (non 4x4 Squared) remaining in the entire US being sold by dealers. Let's hope the MB official website posts the MSRP soon.
