2002 G500 (heavily modified)
Steering wheel swap w/o button functions

Hi everyone,

I am looking to swap out the airbagless aftermarket steering wheel on an early G500 with a newer steering wheel with airbag. I don’t need the airbag to be functional, nor do I need any of the buttons/paddles/controls on the new wheel to be functional. If that’s the case, do I still need to look specifically for steering wheels for that year/model or will a wider range of steering wheels work?

thanks so much!

Sounds like the only function you need is horn and actual steering. I am sure the steering will work but not sure about the horn!
