So it's about relationships, interesting. I'll work on that.
Anywho, I'm keeping what I have (I don't flip or trade) but I've stopped collecting Rolex and have moved on to Patek. It got to a point that my AD would ask me what I was looking for (regarding Rolex) and I simply said no thank you. Sell it to someone else that really wants it and is waiting, no need to be greedy. It means more to them than it means to me. Also the hype turned me off. I much more prefer the understated elegance of PP. Also, there are so many other great brands out there to explore.

No more MB:(
I watched a review last night on the 550, although the HP is there and it does seem to "pop" off the line it lacks the linear and long pull the V8 offers. I'll remain open until I drive a 550 and see for myself but the 63 is definitely a level up.

Help us understand....is this alot? I do know alot of the in stock inventory is very similar in build spec. Alot of Black, olive green and silvers on the dealer lots. I've started to see a few White, Arabian Greys start to trickle in now.

That's what I figured. Not to mention that some dealers are still trying to charge anywhere from $10K-$20K ADM on a 550...... Mercedes should have allowed those dealers more flexibility on the launch vehicles. I ordered a custom 550 build for Nov/Dec delivery but would have gladly taken a launch vehicle if I could have made changes to the build. My guess is these launch 550s will continue to sit.

It looks like some dealers may have received more than one launch vehicle and they seem to still be coming in.

Launch edition vehicles are usually loaded. Don’t think the dealers will have trouble selling them but they are probably trying to max out their profit considering these are MY 2025 cars and we are still in Aug 2024. They don’t feel any pressure on dealing at this point.

Hoping to get an Arabian Grey with Red Pepper interior, but only if MSRP only as well (as a matter of principle). Curious why all the launch colors are boring colors like white and black. This thread has been interesting to read thank you!

Arabian and red is a great combination and one I've been considering as well.

I remember when Car and Driver (or some other auto magazine?) ran a story about a flagship four door luxury car comparison, and they said that the Bentley Turbo R’s paint job put the LS/Celsior, S-Klasse, and 7er to shame (this was in the early 1990s).

my 2024 G 63 has a better finish than my 2021 G 63 had. There’s still a couple spots on my 24. I had paint correction and ceramic coating on both. My 25 G 63 is going to be hyper blue magno. I’m going to have it ceramic coated also.

Same. My 21 was mystic blue and had so much orange peel that it was visible from a good distance and people mistook it for a feature and not a flaw. Akin to exposed carbon fibre. My 24 is Mars Red (or Jupiter, I always confuse the two.) and has a much smoother finish.
