I seriously doubt that you will ever use it. I never use the heated seats, but have used the heated steering wheel when it’s really cold.

okay, I’ve never heard of an armrest heater before. My G is garaged. It gets cold here, not as cold and wet as Seattle.

Just googled your winter temperatures, it’s colder here in the Midwest. Let me know if you ever need/use it.
When is your production date?

Sounds good, I don’t think dealerships are open here today. I have an October 1st production date. My order has been locked since July 5th. Good luck!

Okay, I should have mine by the end of November. Not in any hurry, my 24 only has 1800 miles on it.

I have heated armrest on my S Class. It is very nice actually when it is cold out. It is on backseat armrest as well.

To each their own, I couldn’t see myself needing or using it.

Yeah, mine is going into production on Sept 22nd. Generally the dealers know exactly when they are going into production. From then on, 4 weeks for production + another 4-5 weeks for transportation to east coast.

Takes one week for production. Then it goes by rail to Germany, then by ship to the east coast. Mine is being built 10/1, the dealership is saying it should arrive at the dealership by mid to late November. It goes by truck from Baltimore to the dealership. It all depends on how everything lines up.

Hi @Craig B. . I believe you are correct both in terms of production duration and delivery routes. I would add that for those of us on the West Coast, we would need to tack on another minimum of 10 days. Shipments from MB to us need to travel through the ever-busy Panama Canal before landing in Port of Long Beach, which is the main hub for MB drop-offs on the West Coast. They then sit at the docks awaiting for EPA and customs clearance prior to flatbed delivery to dealers.

Yes, EPA and customs could hold it up also. My 21 G 63 sat in Baltimore for about a month waiting on EPA certification. It was one of the first ones.

So true. My 2024 V6 manual Lotus Emira was sitting in a cargo container on the docks in Long Beach in CA for 5 months before EPA cleared it for delivery to the dealer. So from my initial order placement of my Emira, it took over 18 months before I received delivery of the vehicle... I'm patient though with my cars and am never in a rush. I actually enjoy the anticipation process, which I think G63 owners can relate to. That's how I learned about EPA holdups at ports of entry.

Same, I have a 24 G 63 and don’t mind waiting for the 25 G 63.

Haha - great minds think alike. The anticipation is so fun, isn't it? We are planning on picking up a '25 G63 for my wife. Neither my wife nor I are too particular about G63 specifications since most come fully equipped - other than our nonnegotiable preference for the exterior color (Magno black) and interior color (black). I spoke with my MB dealer and they informed me they always anticipate on buyers reneging on deals due to (1) change in personal financial circumstances and/or (2) release of the MSRP and ADM. According to my dealer, more than 25% of buyers back out of their G63 deals each year. Therefore, we plan on waiting until someone with our specs back out of his/her deal. That's how we were able to pick up my '24 G63 (Magno black exterior with black interior) - which I absolutely enjoy as my daily driver.

My dealership knows I’m not backing out, I ordered Hyper Blue Magno this time. My other 2 were silver. I’m excited for the performance package, new M Bux and keyless go.

That should be an awesome and unique color in real life. Hope you enjoy it when you receive it. As for the performance package, I've taken my '24 G63 over 100 mph only once. It was SCARY being in essentially a flying refrigerator!!! You are braver than me. We can live with or without the top speed deliminator since we have zero plans of ever getting close to the '24 model limit, which I think is 137 mph. Besides, since we live in CA, doing 100mph is risky business because you automatically get sent to jail at 100mph or faster. I'm not kidding or exaggerating - it's CA statutory law...

my 21 had the speed delimiter, it wasn’t an option for 24. I’ve never taken it 100 mph. I’ve had plenty of fast cars. My GT3 was a 200 mph car. They would probably take me to jail for over 100 in my state as well, or cite you for careless driving plus speeding. You would probably lose your license for a while. Yeah, I can’t see going 149 mph in the G Wagon. I’m excited for the active suspension, I think it will ride and handle better. The GM told me to order the speed delimiter when I ordered the 21. It was a $2,200 option.

Yup. I totally get it. My dealer also told me that '24s do not come with the deliminator, and that I shouldn't worry about it because I would never want to go near 137 mph. He has proven to be correct... I got the G63 for its AMG craftsmanship and straight-line acceleration, not for its top speed. There are plenty of sports cars for other "sporty" purposes.
