463 Industries + G63 Edition One (W463-A)
#26
Hi there,
I just got a 2020 G63 and interested with the wheels you provided, can I further ask following questions before making decision?
1. My factory spec of the wheel is 21x10J, ET33, 285/45R21
2. If I run with your suggestion, 20x9.5J, ET35+20mm spacers (which equals to ET15), 295/55R20; will it rub the outer plastic wheel arch?

We suggest going with a 285/50/20 with no rubbing issues at all. Anything above a 50 series tire will rub the inner fender lining.
Please let us know if you have any more questions.

3. if I run them (20x9.5J ET20; 295/55R20) with additional 10mm spacers, will it also rub the inner lining?

Never tried that setup before, but it's not the width of the tire that causes the rubbing, it's the height (55 series).
Hope that helps you answer your questions.
Thank you!

thanks for quick feedback
Just to check with your original post’ spec
>>> 285/55R20, 20x9.5J +35 with -20mm spacers
is that the right spec of your original post setup?
if yes, will that car also rub the inner linning?

this spec was given to us by our customer. We didn't ask if it rubbed or not, sorry.
This customer in particular didn't mind rubbing or trimming the inner lining, we know that.
Thank you again!

thanks for clarifying!
and since your original post got a little large tyres (285/55 vs. 285/50), also sits more protrude (ET35-20 vs. ET20)
could you provide some picture of G 63 FL wearing 285/50R20 with 9.5J +20mm setup
thank you

I’d like to see few more examples of these if anyone has installed these on g63. If I would, I’d have these for function over form, for off-roading etc.

Hello again,
Pain of **** they can be but not point of true beadlock unless you're gonna flying through the Mojave desert or drive on super low tire pressure.
1. The wheels are stain black finish
2. Wheels are $3580 for the set
3. To refinish the ring a different color is $400 for the set, but we can do it for $200.
4. The wheels will rub the inner plastic lining either at full clock turn or in some case at a weird angles. With the few edition 1 we've done with this exact same setup, absolutely no issues at all. But the G550 slightly narrow fenders, so rubbing is on inner lining.
Please let us know if you further questions.
