2019+ G63 Rear Mudflaps?
#28
Dam, when I placed my order, dealer checked in the system that fits on MY2019+, after I did more research & tried fit myself, it all failed. And dealer won't return it.

Take your mud guards and truck to the dealer - tell him to install them or refund your money.

Online MB parts catalogs are a mess - MBAG & MBUSA should be ashamed. I recently wanted to order a replacement part for my MY2019. Had the part in my hand with the MB p/n embossed on it, arguing on the phone with a dealer that the part fit my truck and him insisting it didn't. Your experience - the reverse - is as common. Really makes me want to have my truck serviced by an MB dealership where they'll install the wrong parts because the computer says so.

All, I believe that the parts for the front mud flaps are these listed below. I have higher hopes now that they would fit on a G63 with the running boards now that I have seen the G63 Squared with them on even though it has the running boards. I do realize they are wider on the Squared and different parts for that truck, but it appears these would fit. It appears to me there is a screw with shims and possibly the spring nut for the bottom attachment underneath (I am confused about the 2 push pins and whether they align to the holes of the flap if those push pins are reused for right and left while a screw and shim attaches in the center or not) and am not sure if the screws with shim and spring nuts for the inner fender attachment for those 2 holes in the flap. Either way it appears 2 holes in the fender area and 1 or 3 for the underneath attachment. If anyone takes the plunge and installs them, please let us all know. I am awaiting a new truck to come in and currently do not have a vehicle to install them on. I am including some photos of what the end cap looks like on a normal G63 and a few photos of what they look like installed on the squared in case it helps you determine. I also found real life photos of the actual part for the G63 Flap with 3 holes in the bottom and 2 for the inner wheel well area.

I'll post some before and after photos for the front flap install.
BTW, I can confirm the rear flaps with below # work. Already installed them.
Rear - 463-889-27-00-7C45 (left side) and 463-889-28-00-7C45 (right side)

These are aftermarket.
The front guards have different hole pattern.
The rear guards look identical to the rear OEM flaps.

It appears on your 2022 G550 @Box that you do not have the side steps? Is that correct. I wonder if the guards may fit better for one like my photos above of the 2022 G63 that has side steps. It still appears holes may need to be made for the screws but I am wondering if they may align better or not.

I guess the G550 Professional edition have different hole patterns?
Can someone post a pic of their hole patterns for the fronts?

In my same post above of the Squared, the first two photos are with a normal 2022 G63 with side steps and no guards attached yet. I took the photos off one on a lot.

Ordered front and rear mudflaps for my 2023 G63 about 3 weeks ago. Finally got them installed today at my dealers only for them to tell the front actually don't fit. At least they refunded me the front ones. Anyone know if the eBay ones posted above will fit a 2023 model?

Do you notice anything significant w the trail ride program? That is now the only reason (other than the 20 wheels) for my wanting the trail package 🤔😅
I ordered my current G63 with the Trail Package and I will give my feedback on the option. While everyone will have a different opinion, all input is useful in making an informed decision. First off I love the 20” Trail Package wheels, they look great. I bought a set of the MB multispoke winter wheels with the Alpine 5 snow tires and I wasn’t impressed. The tread pattern on the Mercedes winter wheel package is geared more to a performance car than a seriously capable off-road vehicle. I would prefer winter tires with deeper treads. Due to the all terrain tires the truck does tend to ride a little more rough than 63s equipped with the 22” cross spoke forged. Unless you plan to off-road the vehicle the dynamic select settings really aren’t beneficial on a street driven truck. I originally ordered the package as I was told the skid plates were heavier than the standard truck. This was true in regards to the 2019 model but as of 2020 all G63s get the same skid plates regardless of having the Trail Package or not, as there were issues of the 2019 plates bending easier. Now on to the other components that make up the Trail Package, the rubber mats and mud flaps. I typically use the WeatherTech floor liners and find the mats provided with the TP to be a joke. The design of these mats would allow snow/water to pour over the edges and onto the carpet. I find they are similar to the VW Monster Mats which I found to be rather useless as well. If you live in a dry climate and will only be dealing with sand or dry earth I guess they would be ok, but if you live anywhere with snow/ice or a lot of rain they will make a mess of your carpet. This brings me to the mud flaps, these pieces go back to the first G Wagens, although they have probably been modified to fit the new wider truck. I found them to be rather flimsy and they did give the rear a rather transport truck appearance. Now if you genuinely off-road the truck they may help, but I would suspect they would likely be snapped off. By not fitting them to the front wheel openings you are creating a situation in 4wd that rocks will pelt the bottom of the running boards and potentially the rocker panels as well. All the rear flaps will do is potentially protect the bottom edge of the rear bumper from stone chipping along with preventing rocks from being fired onto the windshield of the vehicles behind. Other than the great looking 20” wheels this package to me was not worth the $2900 Canadian asking price and I will not be adding it to my next truck. Those of you who have G63s currently with the more street focused package will find the Trail Package to ride more rough. I came out of a street focused 2019, and definitely noticed a ride quality deterioration with the Trail Pack. It wasn’t a huge difference but it was noticeable none the less. Hope this mini review helps someone in making a decision, and everyone will have a different viewpoint. Just my two cents worth.

Reading this thread, I'm a little unclear. I understand that no one has found front mud flaps that fit. Rear have been found but the drivers side, rear mudflap has misaligned screw holes? The passenger rear mudflap fits? This is for a standard G63 MY 2019-2024?
