Quote: SO I asked my sales women and the reason is the the CF steering wheel can't be heated, and well I live in a 4 seasons state so a heated steering wheel is a must.

It's the whole thing I'm pretty sure.

On a side not that isn't related the the steer wheel.

I did ask her if MB does a refresh, like the MBUX info or just a slight refresh in general that if I could be out on the list and just trader my 2021 for a 2022 or a 2023 depending on the year it's refreshed.
She told me that they do this and they keep me in the loop and ask their G Wagon owners if they want to trade up. So it's good to know that being an owner gets you in the door for new versions of the G-Wagen
I hate to tell you, the saleswoman blew smoke up your ***, I have the heated carbon fiber steering wheel on my 21 G 63.

All I know is on MB website it won't let me do it either so I don't know what to tell you.

It changes it back to Leather/dianamica and I don't know why she would lie, it's an extra cost option so it's just adding price, I don't see a reason she'd lie.

Sorry you didn’t get the CF heated wheel that you ordered. I received it on my 2021 order.

Sucks, oh well,

Can I just have the dealer install one? I know it'll cost some money, but whatever.

Would any of you have the parts number/Vin for the CF steering wheel? Or know where I can find it?

My local dealer said as long as I can get the part/vin number they can order it and do it for me. Said it has to be a 2021 tho

None of you’ll went for the AMG Drive Select buttons on your steering wheel ? It was an absolute must when buying mine! The beauty of switching drive modes at the base of the wheel is awesome! Is that not available when the wheel is heated?

I live in a cold climate so I want a heated steering wheel. The option is removed when you select a heat wheel which sucks

I have the heated steering wheel and the carbon fiber wheel on mine. You can't just switch the steering wheel, you have to switch the stalk also to include the switch.

Carbon fiber steering wheel plus the heated steering wheel option was always available. Your salesperson unfortunately didn't place the order correctly. There are plenty of '19-'21 models with both options around.
