I'll be your huckleberry. Call me delusional but you shall be wrong particularly if your time horizon is now to 18 months out and then not so sure. MBZ WILL increase msrp for the '22's. Add to that the quirky flatscreen now seen in the S series and you might be surprised at what happens.
Do you think it would be reasonable to buy a new 2021 G63 right now for around $285k Canadian dollars with the expectation that I would be able to sell it close or even at break even mid 2022?
This "future" value in the next 6-12 months is really the main reason why I haven't pulled the trigger. I don't want to lose $20-$50k even though cars are not assets. However, this market is crazy, and the G market is just insane right now.

I do not think anybody should pay that much ADM with the hopes of breaking even in the future. You pay that much ADM because you have a crapload of extra money and zero patience and want the car now.
The only way you'd probably do okay is to rarely drive it, and in that case what's the point of paying the ADM in the first place?
