Ordered a G550 over a G63 because the wait was shorter. My delivery time has passed, and I reached out to my dealer only to learn my build wasn't happening this year.
Any leads on G63s without the 100k mark up? I know I'll have to pay a mark up at this point, but want to see if anyone has had luck under 100k.
I guess folks are really willing to pay 100k+ over MSRP.

Before the V8 news, the magic number was $30k over for a G63. Depending on where you live, I’d go IN PERSON to show them you’re serious. You can call around, but they all play a game where they quote you 50-75k over and then will reach back out and say they can do a deal for $30k over. I imagine they’re doing the same now, but the numbers will be higher.

 

Thanks I haven’t been having much luck even in person they wanted 75k - 100k each time…. I walked away but maybe someone will call back in the coming days if they can’t get the mark up ….. I heard some custom orders may be coming available as folks refuse to pay the mark up or can’t get financing with mark up….

 

dont think you can avoid markup… wont happen. most buyers pay the ADM in cash, not finance it. Demand way too strong so likely will see these ADMs through ‘22 and maybe ‘23 as supply, once back on, will need to catch up so a lag there. Someone is always willing to pay a markup

 

agreed, I will pay the ADM in cash but it has to be less than 100k
