Wind noise problem resolved!!
Firstly...I love the G with all it's quirks, however, the wind noise was bothersome. After 2 trips to the dealership and multiple door and window seal replacements, I've solved the problem.
I was at the boat store last week and my service tech brought out a small container that said "99% Silicone" and begin treating the rubber seals on the boat. He showed my how the rubber over time gets dry and "crinkly". He gave me 3 canisters and said "treat all the rubber periodically and it will keep the rubber supple". The light went off...I immediately went home and felt the rubber seals on my G. Sure enough, they were dry and "crinkly"...even the new seals the dealer had installed.
I begin to slather the silicone on all the door and window seals. The rubber seemingly soaked in the silicone and after the treatment felt supple and no longer dry and "crinkly". I excitedly took the G on a test drive and incredibly, NO MORE WIND NOISE. I got up to 95mph and while there was some very faint "whistling" the terrible wind noise that was so prevalent before the treatment was not completely gone.
