Anyone run 285/45R22 or 285/40R23?

Hi guys

Has anyone run 285/45R22 or 285/40R23 without any rubbing on the G63?

If so, which wheels and what offset?

Thanks

Use the webste www.rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp to get a side-by-side comparison of all dimensions OE versus aftermarket. But remember that suspensions aren't static. The 1" of clearance you might have with oversize wheels and tires can disappear when you encounter your first speed bump.

I know how to calculate tire size and how sizes compare etc. My question was simply about whether or not they would fit without rubbing.

Multiple folks on this forum, including myself, run 285/45R22 on both stock and aftermarket wheels without issue. Do a search and you'll see the topics, one was just posted on last week.

I recently changed my 22" stock tires to Nitto Ridge Grapplers 285/45R/22. No rubbing issue.

23" will reduce the selection of tire brands and models from which to choose. And don't neglect suspension travel when looking at vertical clearance.

I have a 2020 G 63, and I put 285/45 22 tires on about six months ago. I have 5,000 miles on these tires, and I haven't had any issues at all.
