Anyone find/have instructions on disassembly/reassembly sequence for side mirrors? Someone as managed to clip it on the garage entry. Rear shell popped off and can’t get the mirror surround piece aligned at the bottoms to then put the rear shell on. Don’t think anything is damaged, but can’t get it back together and the dealer can’t get me in until the 20th.
It is definitely a snap in process....I replaced the upper rears with carbon fiber by removing with a plastic trim removal tool and the piece does snap back in place. It takes a bit of patience and proper sequence positioning. This probably doesn't help you much other than to know that it snaps back in when it is positioned correctly.
Thanks for the comments. Took the assembly fully apart and found the part called the frame and the lower housing had some broken tab retainers. Hence it won’t snap back together. Ordered a replacement assembly and plan to swap all the internals to the new assembly when it comes. Thanks
