G550 MSRP Reality
. Long lead times are fine. PM me if anyone wants to do a deal. So I'm new to the G550 market. I have been looking at the G since 2006 and it was always just a bit over budget and a bit inefficient on fuel tp actually pull the trigger. Fast forward to today and I'm at a stage were the G wouldn't be needed as a daily driver and the MSRP was within reach. Luck has it i find the market is crazy now and I find myself begging for MSRP. My local dealer which I have ordered vehicles from before told me the price would be 20k over MSRP. He preceded to mention this was a great deal as they are charging of 50k above MSRP to new customers. I get supply and demand and the second sticker but after years of purchasing cars well under MSRP I just cant get my head around it. Looks like i will have to wait again but hopefully not 2 decades. Hmmmm maybe Las Vegas is the answer!
Boat 1
Waiting and hoping for allocation for MSRP
Boat 2
Not going to get one for MSRP
Boat 3
Great relationship with Honest Dealer and have no issues getting them multiple times at MSRP.
Your dealer has basically put you in boat 2 already. You can try to find another dealer but you will be a long time out.

"We are not taking any orders for the 2023 G Wagon. We are building them when we get allocation and are selling them to the highest bidder per XYZ."
