Confused....they seem to SPECIFICALLY say "not on this one" insinuating that it's NOT getting MBUX
Yes but they say "not on this one..." The ... Is the bit where they are saying "it's not on this one but it's coming on the next one" and from what leaks suggest with the dashboard covered and what they are slightly hinting at just makes sense the 2023 will have MBUX if it wasn't coming they would have simply said "not on this" but they said ONE so breaking it down ONE is being that specific one but others yes !
G wagon using COMMAND is so bad it's laggy for starters it's so basic the maps are crap it's just so dated MBUX is fun and new ! Even the 20K A class has it !

Is COMAND old? Yes. Is it laggy? No. Does anyone use OEM navigation? Hell No. Carplay has made all OEM systems obsolete IMO. Also, I could care less about COMAND vs MBUX vs MB.OS. My wife's BMW has an awesome OS with touch screen etc. You think I'm picking her car over my G in the mornings? No way...

Actually, I used the MB factory Nav but maybe I was the only one! Nevertheless, MBUX will be on the EQG - I will let you know how I like it when I get one.
I bought my dad a GLE53 2022. It has MBUX and I have a 2020 G63. I'm not that impressed by the MBUX. It doesn't make your life that much better, it’s honestly just a touch screen with android like icons. Switching between the cars during the week I don't see myself running to the car with MBUX..

Its more to do with the principle. G is a flagship car. That along with the price, should at least get technology you would find in a base model A class. It wouldn't be that hard for them to upgrade either.
A smooth, unlaggy touchscreen makes a world of difference for most people when driving in real world conditions. For me, COMAND is the only bugbear I have with the car, especially as an andoird user
