Good price for G63 2019??
Hello!
I’ve been waiting to buy a used 2019 G63 because of the price increase in the past years. I notice that the prices are finally falling and I am wondering at what price should I pull the trigger?
Ideally under 60k km (37k miles) and obsidian or matte black with 21 or 22 inches wheels.
Any price targets? They are currently listed on auto trader for 240-280k CAD (187-218 k USD)
Thanks in advance for your help

You're trying to time the market...
Might as well wait until the refresh. That's where you'll get the most value. But then again, if you wait a few years past that, you'll get an even lower price...

This place is a joke.
It's a depreciating asset at this point. How much money (lost) is gotta-have-it-itis worth to you?
How many more years will you be existing on this floating rock in space?
How many of those years will you be able to drive?
Will you spend most of your time sitting in traffic with everyone else?
Is there anything else more enjoyable you could spend the money on? Travel? An airplane, boat, or a personal submarine? A condo or cabin somewhere?

Avoid 21" wheels because the choice in tires is meager. Avoid 22" wheels if you plan off-roading, or live where the roads are pocked with potholes and poor pavement maintenance. Nobody buys a G-Wagen for its value as transportation. Only you can decide if a G's price is a "good price" because only you can decide its value to you. Personally, I wouldn't buy any car or truck, new or used, right now because of high prices and short supply. You'll be the one who absorbs the depreciation and will be left under water in 3 years.

Let’s say there was no price increases, no supply chain issues, just usual depreciation. Hypothetically.
How much this 3 years old car would be worth in “normal” times.

If you have to ask, maybe the G is not for you. Buying hypothetically is basically incomputable. G is pretty much an emotional purchase. Spend what you can live with and don't look back.

Even in "normal" times, there's nothing normal about G-Wagens. I bought my '19 G550 three years ago (pre-pandemic, pre-shortages, pre-inflation, pre-etc.) when prices were up to +$25K over MSRP. Mine is 13K miles and blemish free. IF I intended to sell it, I would ask $170K, based on comparables I've seen listed. I'm not being greedy -- right now, I'd have to pay at least MSRP +$20K for anything I would buy to replace it.

I have owned 6 of them since 2010. Typically your trade-in after 3 years and 30K miles would be 65-70% of original MSRP so about $110K - $120K for a 2019 G63 but everything has gone crazy since Covid.

To answer some previous posts,
I’ve been “in love” with the cls63 8 years before i bought one. I consider the emotional and factual aspects before I buy expensive things. I’m in no rush and am happy to keep my car but ready to change it when I feel the stars align. I also like delayed gratification.
Sorry to those I offended with my inquiry.

Bingo I looked at the G before i bought the gle63s. As much as I liked the look of a G, driving was just not great, very truck like, backseat very cramped, granted that was before 2019 model release.... and you know have me looking again just to see if the latest model yr 2019+ is better enough to trade my gle63s in....
