Bill Rader motorsports can get you the rack and ladder for less. It will be LeTech brand, but as far as I know it looks essentially the same.

I think it’s going to be one of the hardest to get cars, once it’s properly released after the recall. Once you see one in person and driving, you realize there is nothing like it on the market. Compared to the Ferrari or Lamborghini SUV, this thing is a proper monster truck. I’m not a fan of the tiny SUVs (as awesome as the urus and purosangue are)

He then proceeded to call MB. Really didn't get any useful information, other than my allocation was "Locked", i.e. No changes to build accepted at this time. But he didn't really get any more information other than that.
Personally, I'm not exactly in a rush. But it would be nice to have a rough estimate of delivery.
Very frustrating situation. I understand things happen aka "Stop Sale". There is no excuse for the lack, the communication from MB to customers.

If they release the '23s with the new parts before fixing the '22s that are sitting on dealer lots I think there will be a LOT of dealers that are not pleased with MB. There are a ton of dealers holding '22s that they have lined up to sell, but can't do so because of the stop sale. If '23s start to get released then all of the '22s that are sitting on lots automatically take a hit on value. I know it is still very limited production, but the '23s will always have a bit higher value than the '22s (assuming the same thing holds true with these as did the '17 and '18 model years).

My I ask what your promised build date was? Mine was May '23. Just trying to figure out cash flow, but I expect I'll get a phone call out of the blue and say "Hey! Your car is here!"
I agree with you. That's why I'm a little surprised GrnLantern got his

The other down side is MB USA has now released the official number of the 2022 cars and assuming an equal number will be produced in 2023 that is getting close to 600 in total and way more than anyone ever expected for a supposedly rare car that does not fit in most homes or garages. And with the recession and the current interest rates I would predict that by the time the last of the 2023s are on the dealer lots, they will be had for MSRP if not lower.

Another late model @lennartz_technik Portal conversion nearing completion. Just waiting on a set of bead lock wheels from @delta4x4.usa, and our custom CTIS enclosure box to be completed and we’ll be ready to hit the trails! This one also features the debut of our hybrid G63/G550 bull bar. Pretty happy on how that turned out.

Thanks. There is rubbing when turning lock to lock. I've used a heat gun to shape the fender liner and it helps a little. But when doing full lock turns, those tires will be right up against the back of the bumper. Wheel fitment is: 24”x14” ET -44 front & rear. Tires are Mickey Thompson baja boss a/t 37x13.5r24

Also, do you have a pic of the spare carrier? Curious how they shimmed the carrier out to fit that wide wheel.
