As for my own, I gave it back to MB 2 weeks ago, full refund inc adm and ppf/ceramic. Good deal as I would of lost a lot if I kept it. Got to drive it 1500 miles (it was fixed as well).

My dealer called me again and they now say what if they can do a little lower than MSRP, I was like really really, I still said no.
will wait for when they are under $300k, which it might not be long for sure. anybody trading a 2022 back to the dealer will probably only get around $250k and the dealer will try to sell it at $290k to $300k.

Need your opinions
option 1) 2022, new, recall complete, cardinal red mango. Priced at msrp
option 2) 2023, new, not part of recall, black magno. 28k markup
Was about to go with the 2023 matte black (preferred color) then the opportunity for the 2022 at msrp came up.
what’s the best move. big price difference

Red 22 Sitting since December 2021. Recall just done. Buying it Msrp is the obvious appeal
Black 23. 28k Markup is there. But the 23’s have been selling at over msrp with multiple sold each week (I’ve been watching). 50 seems to be standard markup.

They are giving me good trade value for my car for the 23 model, and paying for shipping, so it ends up being 28k over msrp when factoring it all in

The prices are going down from $150K over to $40K now and it's going down from there!!
Personally, I'm waiting for the right build at MSRP.
Salesman said it was going to be a 24-model year. However, he's been wrong before. Curious, if anyone knows if they've moved the model year for the later builds.
I called a local dear that had a 22 for sale (1100 miles), wife hated it and refused to get in it. Thus, the reason for the sale. It was listed in the 430's, but he said the current offers are much closer to MSRP. Just sold, not sure what he finally got for it.
This thread is very timely, and I was going to the same question. My deal is $40k over listing, of course it was for a car I spec'd out. But I see a ton of cars listed for sale online. Wasn't sure if the recall destroyed the excitement for the car and with so many cars for sale, and the ADM was unreasonable.
In essence, should go shopping for another car to avoid the ADM or stick with my build. And of course, is there a premium for post-recall cars?
Sounds like the cars are still moving and getting $40 ADM. I'm not too concerned with the best deal, but certainly don't want the worse deal.
