Anyone know how many Canada is getting? Also have people submitted any configurations/orders? I have the #1 spot at my dealership but Im not sure if they will even get an allocation.

 

Likewise. #1 position at my dealer, but MB has not yet disclosed production numbers or allocations. Apparently right now MB is simply asking dealers if they have any customer commitments. Hopefully we get some clear direction soon. The G 4x4^2 looks great IMO.

 

Orders can't be fully configured in the MB system yet, but dealers can submit to MB to get a spot. Then MB will dole out the allocations using whatever formula they use to decide who is getting them. I'd reach out to your dealer and submit your order/place the deposit so you get on MB's list of who wants one. I sent my configuration to my dealer using the order guide like the one linked above, and then he submitted it to MB (without being able to actually chose the packages, etc. yet).

 

Already placed my deposit before the car was announced and I spoke to my SA. They don't know anything and haven't heard anything official about whether they will be even getting one. Was just wondering if someone in Canada has already locked one down or has heard anything.

I’ve received confirmation from my dealer that I have a September 2022 build.
We configured it to my spec earlier this week and obtained a commission number from MB.
No pricing yet, but I’m sure it won’t be cheap
Configured the same as my 2021 G63 (Dark Olive Magno, Truffle leather, Night Package, etc).
now I need to modify the garage door @ home to fit…
