2021 G63 AMG winter tires

My truck has the 295/40/r22 scorpion zero assimetrico which I think is all season.

you guys recommend full wheel and tire changeup?

debating swapping that vs putting winter wheel/tire setup on my urus. But I’m less enthused about wintering the urus in salt given lower ride height

Selection of winter tires in 22" are few in normal times, and right now the couple brands are on backorder. A good place to start would be TireRack -- check what's available in the size(s) you want (or would consider). If you're planning a wheel and tire set (tire flipping one set of wheels is IMO not good), you might want to look at 20" since the selection, availability and price is much better. I run 20" Yokohama Geolander A/Ts 3MPSF rated tires on my G550 year round in Colorado and find them entirely suitable given the 5K annual mileage I drive. Conventional "all season" tires really aren't. However, I just installed Michelin Cross Climate 2s (an unconventional "all season" 3 MPSF rated tire) on my X7 but have yet to try them out in snow.

does anyone here just use the stock allseason 22s? Or do most just not drive it in snow?

The 22s suck in the winter. I had them on my last G63. Get yourself a set of winter tires and rims

22s and 21s are bad in the winter due to the low profile with very few and very expensive winter tire choices. I have a set of 20s and I use 275/50/R20 Vredstein Wintrac Pro tires and they perform great in NE Ohio and Michigan winter conditions. Keep in mind that the previous generation G-class 20 inch AMG wheels do fit the new G-class including the G63 but you will need 15 mm spacers and 15 mm longer bolts due to the 15mm difference in offset.
