Entirely a function of your climate, driving conditions, driving style and vehicle use. Otherwise, whatever's on sale at Walmart in the G's OE size will do.

G wagon (W463a) and Carrera S (992)
I just got the new Nitto Recon Grappler and I LOVE it.. Looks aggressive like the Nitro Ridge Grappler, but quite and softer. This tire will dominate the scene for the next few years
