22 G550 Professional Edition
Purchased the G550 a couple of weeks ago and I am having a problem finding a car wash that will put the car through their wash… they are worried about damage to the roof rack. Has anyone else experienced this?

We also have a Defender with attachments and most places won't let it go through due to damage concerns. We just have it hand washed or in the winter use the manual spray wand to get the snow/grime off in between hand washes.

In general, those car washes go through daily occurrences of issues with car damages. Once they see you in a Mercedes with a roof rack, I am not surprised they would turn you away. Too high risk
