My G550 china blue with platinum white interior was supposed to come in to the dealer this coming Monday. But after reading some of the posts comparing it to the 63 i always had that dilemma in mind. Personally, I didn't care about the additional power or the resale value (never going to sell this car) but the front look was always something that I liked way more than the 550. A local dealer got a 63 china blue yesterday and i went in with no intention of purchasing it but lo and behold walked out with one. I also bought the prepaid maintenance, wheel protection and ceramic coating with interior protection. Seemed worth it.
A couple of more things outside the look that were not available on the 550 were 1) wooden steering wheel which I really like on my S550e and 2) monoblock wheels. And this car had both.
One thing that wasn't clear to me was what options on 550 come standard on the G63. Does anyone know this information?
Loving the car and i'll probably be in disbelief for the next month or so. Its a beast and drives amazing.
