Certainly seems like the forum knows much more than the dealers by me. The dealers here wont tell me anything! Not even take my name for any lists.

 

Dealers rarely know much. Maybe one person at each dealer knows as much as the good folks on the forums do.

 

Got a September allocation. Options will close on Sept 6th. With a mid October build and a end of November delivery.
Canada 2024 model.

 

Dealer confirmed my build locked last week, set for production 3rd week of September, MSRP still not set for MY 24

 

I don’t see MB raising the MSRP for MY24 especially with overall prices dropping and the 4x4 fiasco…

 

I totally want you to be correct, but I just dont see how when every other company/service/car manufacturer and all of the resources used to make a G have continually increased their prices. Just look at what they're trying to charge for a new C63 with the lawnmower 4 cylinder engine. The G is MB's money printer.

 

Have an october build and my dealer contacted me today to say MB notified them there is a delay with the brake supplier and so i cant get the silver calipers only red, anyone else here this nonsense?

 

I have not, though I have a January build.

Why not ask to be pushed out to a later allocation? The allocs are flowing...

 

I have a October build does anyone know when anticipated delivery may be?

 

Typically, it takes 2-3 weeks for the vehicle to make its way across the Atlantic after the build is completed. Since Oct builds are MY24 it likely will get held at the VPC until MB releases the new models, so I would plan on Dec for delivery…

 

Silver calipers for my Sept build, and my SA says no news for what it's worth.. fingers crossed

 

If you are forced to get red and don’t want them, just get monoblocks. Can’t see them anyway.

 

I did ask, we shall see.

 

Most likely around thanksgiving / early dec.

Honestly I’m ok with that price increase. Could have been worse…

I guess it couldve been worse. I suppose base will hit 190 for 25

Any idea when or how long it takes for Merc dealers to get allocation for G63?

 

It varies by dealer and how many people are on the list ahead of you. It’s best to find out from your dealer directly.
