I let go of my matte black g63 amg today was sad to see it go after 13k miles but it was time had to make room for the new one.anyone else get rid ion there G's for there 2024's

Had these mods programmed on my G63!
1. Disabled ECO start/stop
2. Active Lane Assist only vibrates now. No jerking.
3. AMG exhaust flaps stay open.
4. Starts up in any Dynamic mode you choose.
5. Lane changing flashes 5 times instead of 3 times.
Interested in doing these things also. How is this done?

Got an excellent UK G Wagon plate available for sale if anyone is interested. It reads GW24 GON. Have a look at the example on the thread linked, will be perfect for a 24 plate model onwards.
Spoke to my dealer today who told me my G63 which has been at the baltimore vpc for nearly 2 weeks, just had a status change. He feels it will be shipped any day now from the vpc as its now awaiting transport. What is still a mystery is will we get those black running boards. Mine is ordered with every possible NIGHT package, so we'll see!
On September 21, I asked my dealer about the black running boards on my build. This is what they told me:
Richard, this is noted in the Dealer Ordering guide. We have DF4 on your build.

Im a lucky dude! Black Magno MY24 G63 paired Giallo Modena MY15 458. I wish i bought the speiciale a few years ago when i was offered one for 350k. A few years later, i spent nearly that on a 458 italia with 4k miles and one owner. I do love that car!
I'm lucky too. Ferrari does yellow right! Post a picture of the pair. I've been told 458 Speciales are going for $700K nowadays

Do you think this build will have the black running boards? I was suprised that my dealer didn't know as the car is sitting in the vpc waiting to be released
You are going to be surprised how much you're going to like your G 63 Of all the cars I've owned, my favorite "all things considered" is the 2020 G 63. I was going to keep it for the long run (I even purchased the extended warranty), but I had an opportunity for a 2024 G 63 December build, so I grabbed it. My 2024 build is almost identical to my 2020 G 63. If Mercedes had discontinued the bi-turbo V8, I would have kept my 2020 G 63.
BTW, your build (looks really good) shows you ordered the DF4 AMG Night Package Magno. My dealer told me the following in September:

I can't wait! Finally i'll have a vehicle i can take on the beach (unlike my 21 x5m which is vacating to make room for the G! Hope the black and yellow go well together!
I don't have option "ZT5" "Trim Moulding with Manufaktur lettering" on my build sheet, thought it was standard with all upgraded interior packages according to the order guide... I guess we'll find out!

I'll be damned you're right, I went with tartufo so non manufaktur... but order guide is confusing because see below (last line)?
Can someone tell me what "ZT5" "Trim Moulding with Manufaktur lettering" even is, lol? I didn't pick this built - a dealer had it on a boat and sold to me so i didn't have a chance to customize. Its close to what i would've gotten with the exception of the leather color. I would've gone for more red than just black. At least it has red stitching.
It's likely the trim of the grab handle in front of the passenger. If you have non-manufaktur interior you get the same trim as the dash (carbon fiber, wood, etc). If you get manufaktur interior then you get a silver aluminum looking trim with Manufaktur printed on it.
I much prefer the matching trim but the color of the seats is most important.
See what you think after your G arrives. It might be something the dealer can easily order/install after it arrives?
BTW, when I ordered my first G wagon, I assumed it was an "SUV", right? It didn't feel right to refer to it as a "car", but SUV didn't quite seem right either. I think everybody except me knows it's a "truck", but I didn't know until I started reading this forum. LOL

Now I'm with you I much prefer the matching trim as well. For whatever reason I thought you'd get the matching trim AND the "Manufaktur" script printed on it, not an either or proposition. Didn't notice until just now it's a silver trim with script on it regardless of actual interior trim selected, forums like this are where we get to geek out on the details. In this case perfect I'm glad I don't have that option! Ha
