PPF and/or Ceramic coating on G?

I dont think you're going to get a definite answer here. Every time this topic comes up its a mix of people who dont care for it or have wrapped their entire car. So ultimately it comes down to how particular you are, what kind of driving you do and if you care to spend the extra money.
For me Ive had dings on the highway that no matter what PPF you have installed, it will dig through and cause paint damage anyway. In that case you'd have to have the PPF removed, fix the paint and have it re-applied. Its not magic, but it will protect against minor dings. For the minor damage it does protect against, its not worth the cost (at least to me). Not to mention you will never get this money back as the next buyer/dealership wont care that you have PPF or not. Additionally the next buyer wont offer you significantly more just because your car doesn't have a few rocks chips on the hood. There's also the fact that eventually it will peel and yellow and will need to be re-applied which Im too lazy for.
For me the sweet spot is just ceramic coating the entire car. Protects against UV and also makes cleaning much easier. But if you're really sensitive to minor scratches/dings or you live in an area with poop roads or do a lot of highway driving then PPF might be worth it.

Wow that was the perfect reply. I had to check the username to see if I had posted it!
I had full front PPF on my 2021 and got hit twice on the highway with rocks - one tore the PPF (which then is very unsightly and a bright white spot) and chipped the paint, and another put a divot into the corner by the windshield that could not be fixed by PDR unless the PPF was removed. My solution is to skip PPF and avoid highways.
Ceramic coating is a must in my opinion. It makes cleaning so much easier and does protect the paint to a degree. Won't do anything with impacts of course.
Some people do swear by PPF though--I think it may be good to experience it for yourself and see what you think, but for me I'll gladly save the money.

Totally agree with the other replies. Skip PPF, and just go for the ceramic coating. Make sure the shop does at least 2x paint correction to make sure all of the swirls are removed before the ceramic is applied. Ceramic coating on the wheels is also suggested.
