I have 21s on my 63 right now. Wanting to go 20s because of tire optiins. Thinking 22s would be a rougher ride than current 21s. Will 20s fit due to brake calipers? Some are telling me no
but the trail package with 20s is an option on them.
Thank u all!
If you have at least 3/4" clearance between your calipers and 21" inside wheel surface, you should be OK with 20" wheels. But there are several other wheel specs to consider -- bolt pattern, bolt seat, offset, width -- so a trip to a wheel or tire shop could be worth the time to make sure the wheel you want to mount will fit in all respects.
The vehicle has 20" as standard, and the spare tire is 20", so on the surface the answer is yes but as streborx says there's more to it than rim diameter.
