do i need tpms for winter wheels or is it abs tpms?
hey all any idea if a 22 G63 amg needs tpms sensors for a aftermarket set of wheels? or is the tpms connected to to the abs?

i know i can see each individual psi on each wheel and temp. so i assume i need sensors for my winter set of wheels if i want tpms functionality?

Yes. They are attached to each stem.

"Wanting" TPMS function on your winter set of tires is preempted by federal law that mandates it on all vehicles since 2007. Your tire dealer is required to install them.

Should note that 3rd party brands work fine so no need to pay 2-3x more for OEM TPMS.
