2025 Pricing & ADM's
#51
When I ordered a red exterior for my 2021 back in summer 2020, the dealer told me like three times that my $5,000 deposit would be non-refundable once the spec locked . That's not even taking into account the interior was red too.
Not a horrible idea, but I bet in California even the craziest spec will eventually sell even if it's a smaller ADM.

What exactly is the MSRP? Seems to be somewhat of a mystery. All I could find was an "estimated $168K" from Car and Driver, which actually sounds reasonable to me. I have a feeling the Range Rover EV and new Jaguar EVs are going to be over the 200K mark, which seems unfortuate. If the Maybach EQS SUVs that have been sitting on dealer lots for several months now are any indication, I don't think the market for high-priced EVs that'll depreciate 40% in one year is all that super fantastico right now... but what do I know.
My Taycan took a huge depreciation hit recently, I think I'm mostly okay with it - still came out cheaper owning vs. leasing.

Most should ship to a local Autonation MB dealership near you. Most Launch vehicles on the site are around $168900 MSRP with a few around $174K with premium options. If you see one higher than that, it has crazy ADM markup.

The vast majority of dealers on the east coast are not charging anything over MSRP for a G550. If you shop around, you might even be able to get some money off the launch editions that most dealers have had sitting on their lots for some time now. The west coast is a much more aggressive market for G wagens.

Really interesting reading about what others on the forum are seeing/hearing in terms of markups. Early this summer I reached out to a number of dealers in our state as well as neighboring states. For what it is worth:
-One indicated they had a build slot for a G63 for October production with a $50K ADM, but said he would “fight” for us with management to get it down to $20-25K (LOL).
-Another indicated the markup was $25K “fixed” (yeah nope).
-Most others did not address what ADM they were charging (red flag in my view).
-Two dealers -- one in our state and one next door -- indicated they do not charge over MSRP for custom orders. The downside is there is a wait list at both: ~12-15 months for a G63 at the in-state dealer and ~9-12 months at the other.
We would rather wait than pay ADM. For those on a waiting list, curious as to how long you have been quoted and whether you are on the list at more than one dealer. Thanks and have a great weekend.

All of the dealers near me would not even put me on a wait list. Basically said that all their allocations are gone come back in 12 months, They all were very professional and polite so no worries.

I have my local dealer in the Northeast that has an 2025 G550 white on the ground that is available at MSRP with no added or hidden fees. PM me and i can get you in touch with my sales rep.

Does Mercedes raise prices every year like Porsche. A Porsche 911, similar ADM situation goes up 3 to 5 percent every year so a reasonable ADM can make the car cheaper than waiting a year.

My 24 went up $32K from my 21 G 63. I don’t think they’ve announced pricing on the 25 G 63 for the USA yet.

2021 MSRP $157,000
2022 MSRP $179,000
2023 MSRP $179,000
2024 MSRP $183,000
Before MY2021 I wasn't in the market so don't know, but I believe there was a small increase from 2019 to 2020 to 2021.

2019-2024 U.S. G550 and G63 MSRPs
Yeah, here are the 2019-2021 base prices for the G63W4:
2019 MSRP $147,500
2020 MSRP $156,450
2021 MSRP $157,500
2022 and 2023 MSRPs were indeed $179,000 and 2024 was $183,000 (all prices here exclude delivery and of course any options).
Here is the base price evolution of the G550 from 2019-2024 in the U.S.:
2019 MSRP $124,500
2020 MSRP $130,900
2021 MSRP $131,750
2022 MSRP $139,900
2023 MSRP $139,900
2024 MSRP $143,000
For both models, the increase from 2021 to 2022 was the steepest. The jump from 2019 to 2020 was also significant, though; anyone who was able to buy a 2019 at MSRP did very well.

Including the (obligatory for 2025) Edition 1 package, but excluding any paints outside of Obsidian Black or adding any of the limited factory options, the MSRP is effectively $179,750 plus destination. Cheers

Hi @amelen -- MBUSA added an initial information page to their website as a precursor to the Build This Vehicle tool. The page shows the U.S. MSRP for 2025 is $161,500 before destination:
