2025 G-Class - G63W4 Configuration Feedback
#76
Yup. I totally get it. My dealer also told me that '24s do not come with the deliminator, and that I shouldn't worry about it because I would never want to go near 137 mph. He has proven to be correct... I got the G63 for its AMG craftsmanship and straight-line acceleration, not for its top speed. There are plenty of sports cars for other "sporty" purposes.
modifications I had done to it, so I sold it

The spec sheet for '25 is not showing any option for armrest heating. My dealer was unable to find it as well. Anyways, my car went into production so no chance of getting it added even if its available. 906 option shows something different.

I wouldn’t worry about it, I didn’t order it. If it’s that cold out, you will have a jacket or coat on.

Sums up my experience as well, except I didn't do as well on the sports cars ha ha. Taking into account a variety of things, I stopped driving my Ferraris and Porsches half as much after I got my first G63.. this wasn't the case when I was going from one Cayenne Turbo to another.. G63 really makes the ordinary so fun

@SinghG63 Yeah and PNW winters have been getting colder.
btw, which dealership did you order from? I'm in Bellevue and ordered mine from Lynwood with a production date of early October.

Was going to wait because I have a ‘24 G63 but really want the new MBUX and Keyless Entry. Build slot is in December and was thinking Monza Grey Magno (currently have Night Black Magno). Did you look at any other interior combo’s? Trying to see what goes best with Monza.

For my wife, we're replacing her GLS with a 7-seater Range Rover as soon as the EPA allows us to take delivery of the one we had built months ago lol (they haven't cleared the 6-cyl models yet).

The RSQ8 has some of the same underpinnings as the Urus (VW MLB Evo platform) and it drives like a sports car in SUV guise. My wife and kids love it compared to the G63 as it’s very fast, sporty, and growls a little bit. I like it for long drives as its effortless.
However, it’s not a G wagon, The G63 is an off-roading truck with amazing street prowess, grace, and style. The exhaust notes are not comparable. It’s my go to everyday now and I find myself looking for an excuse to go for a ride in it.
HTH. You can’t lose with either, just depends on your preferences. I chose both.

Craig - did your G63 arrive with both sets of mats or have you actually seen a 2025 G63 with the VGO mats and the carpet mats included?
So far, all information from my dealer has been incorrect, so I’m skeptical. Thanks

Both my 21 G 63 came with both and my 24 G 63 came with both. I would assume my 25 G 63 will come with both sets of mats. My 25 has been built, in Germany waiting to be loaded on a ship.
